Taplio Review (2026): Pricing, Features, Who It's For
By João Saraiva, founder of Postopus
Taplio is a LinkedIn-only growth tool: it helps you find post ideas, write and schedule posts, read your LinkedIn analytics and, on its top plan, automate outreach. It costs $39, $69 or $199 a month (or $32, $49 and $149 a month billed yearly), and it is worth it if LinkedIn is your main channel and you will use its analytics and engagement tools.

What Taplio is
Taplio is made by lempire and calls itself an AI coach for LinkedIn growth. Its site groups the product into four steps: Create (ideas and drafting), Schedule (a posting queue), Engage (a curated feed of people to comment on) and Connect (finding leads and sending connection requests and DMs).
It works on LinkedIn only. If you also post on X, Threads or Bluesky, you need a second tool.
Pricing (checked October 20, 2026)
How much does Taplio cost? There are three plans, each with a 7-day free trial that gives you Pro access, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39/month | $32/month ($384 a year) | Scheduling, analytics, the viral post library, drafts, the Chrome extension. No AI credits |
| Growth | $69/month | $49/month ($588 a year) | 250 AI credits and 500 comment credits a month, Zapier, team management, contact lists |
| Pro | $199/month | $149/month ($1,788 a year) | Unlimited AI and comment credits, lead database, auto-DMs, bulk DMs, auto connection requests |
Taplio also offers team and agency pricing ("save up to 30%", with multiple accounts and admin, writer and client roles), but the page lists no price for it. Taplio's API and its LinkedIn MCP connector are on every plan.
One detail to notice: Starter has no AI credits. The AI post generator, "Help me write a post", "Improve my draft", the carousel generator and AI replies start on Growth. If AI drafting is the reason you want Taplio, budget for Growth at least.
What it does well
- LinkedIn analytics. Every plan includes analytics and a monthly stats email, and the pricing page mentions a LinkedIn Benchmark built from more than 60,000 posts a month. If you want to see how your LinkedIn posts perform, this is Taplio's strongest point.
- Inspiration. Taplio lists a library of more than 5 million viral posts on every plan, plus saved collections. If you write better by studying what worked for others, there is plenty to study.
- Engagement in one place. Growth and Pro add a curated feed of posts to comment on, comment credits, auto-replies to comments on your posts and contact lists.
- Outreach. Pro adds a lead database, auto-DMs, bulk DMs and automatic connection requests. Few writing tools go this far into sales.
- A Chrome extension that brings stats, your best posts and quick saves into LinkedIn. Taplio says it works without a paid plan.
Limits
- LinkedIn only. No X, Threads or Bluesky.
- The AI is metered. Starter has none, Growth has 250 AI credits a month, and only Pro is unlimited.
- The best features sit on the expensive plan. The outreach tools that set Taplio apart are on Pro, at $149 to $199 a month.
- Automation acts in your name. Auto-comments, auto-DMs and automatic connection requests run on your account. Taplio says it runs them at "safe, human-paced limits"; whether that fits how you want to show up on LinkedIn is your call.
- Team pricing is not on the site. You have to ask.
Who it's for
Is Taplio worth it? It is worth it if all of these are true: LinkedIn is your main channel, you want analytics and a big library of viral posts, and you will use the engagement or outreach tools. Founders and salespeople who use LinkedIn to find leads get the most out of Pro.
It is less of a fit if you post on more than one network, if you only need to write and schedule (Starter does that, but so do cheaper tools), or if you would rather write every comment and DM yourself.
Alternatives
If you want a different approach, here is ours. Postopus is the brand engine for people who write, on LinkedIn and X. Its AI, Tako, learns your voice from your Brain and the posts you publish, drafts only from the facts you give it (a missing detail becomes a {placeholder} for you to fill in) and never publishes for you. You stay the author.
Where Taplio wins: Postopus has no LinkedIn analytics yet, no viral post library and no outreach automation (no auto-DMs, auto-comments or connection requests). If those are what you need, Taplio is the better tool.
Where Postopus differs:
- LinkedIn and X in one editor, with live previews of both, X threads and first comments on both. See AI writing in your voice.
- Every feature on every plan. Inkling is $29 a month (or $290 a year) for one project; Deep Diver is $79 a month (or $790 a year) for all your projects and up to 5 people. Every account starts with a 7-day free trial, no credit card. See pricing.
- Approval before publishing for teams: an owner or admin approves a writer's post before it can go out. See teams.
The full side-by-side is on Postopus vs Taplio.
Free tools if you write for LinkedIn, whatever you use: the LinkedIn text formatter (bold and italic text), the LinkedIn post preview and the LinkedIn character counter.
