The posting schedule and queue

The posting schedule is your weekly set of posting times. Add to queue puts a post in the next free one, so you do not have to pick a time each time.

Set your posting schedule#

1. Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose Workspace settings.
2. Open Schedule.
3. Under Add a time, pick the schedule (Global (all platforms), X or LinkedIn), a time, a timezone and the days.
4. Choose Add to schedule.

Workspace settings are open to the workspace's owners and admins.

Add a post to the queue#

In the editor, open Publish and choose Add to queue. You can also use Add to queue on a draft in your post list. Postopus shows the next free slot, and Schedule to this slot schedules it.

How the next free slot is picked#

Postopus looks at your slots in time order and takes the first one that:

• is still in the future;
• fits the post: a Global slot fits any post, and an X or LinkedIn slot fits a post that goes to that platform only;
• has no other post scheduled on the same platform within 30 minutes.

If every upcoming slot is taken, Postopus says so and offers Add more slots.
