X threads
Write an X thread post by post, or split long text into a thread in one click.
A thread is a chain of X posts published one after the other. Threads are for X only, so they are available when X is the only platform on the post, or on the X tab when you write a different version per platform.
Write a thread#
Choose Add tweet (convert to thread) under the post. Each post in the thread gets its own box, counter and media. Use Add tweet for the next one. A thread can have up to 25 posts.
Convert to single post turns the thread back into one post.
Split long text into a thread#
When your text runs over the X limit, Split into a thread appears. It splits your text into posts for you. Check where each one breaks before you publish.

Media in a thread#
Each post in a thread can have up to 4 images (JPEG, PNG or WebP) or 1 video.
Preview#
The X preview shows the whole thread as it will appear, post by post.
