Workspaces, roles and invites
Create workspaces, invite people by email and choose what each person can do.
Workspaces#
A workspace holds its own connected accounts, posts, Brain and members. Your account starts with a Personal workspace, which is just for you and cannot have other members.
To work with others, or to keep a client or brand apart, open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose Create workspace. Switch between workspaces from the same menu. How many workspaces and people you can have depends on your plan. See Plans, the trial and billing.
Invite people#
- In the workspace switcher, choose Workspace settings, then Members.
- Under Invite by email, enter their email and pick a role.
- Choose Send invite.
They get an email invite. Until they accept, the invite is under Pending invites, where you can Revoke it. If every seat on your plan is taken, Postopus tells you; add a seat or move to Deep Diver in Billing, then invite again.
Roles#
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing, deleting the workspace and transferring ownership. Each workspace has one owner. |
| Admin | Manage members and workspace settings, approve posts, export the workspace's data. |
| Member | Write, schedule and publish posts. An owner or admin can require approval for a member's posts. |
| Viewer | A role you can invite people with. Today it can do what a member can. |
Remove members or transfer ownership#
On the Members page, owners and admins can choose Remove from team on a person (an admin cannot remove another admin). The owner can Transfer ownership to someone else, and becomes an admin.
Assign and discuss drafts#
Assign a draft to a teammate so it shows under Assigned to me for them. Leave internal comments on a draft to discuss it. Comments are never published.
