Analyze public X accounts, yours and accounts in your niche, to see when they post and which formats, hooks and themes they use.
X Insights looks at public X accounts you choose, your own and reference accounts in your niche, and shows when they post, which formats and hooks they use, how long their posts are and what themes they write about. Open it from Studio > X Insights.
Before you start#
Analyzing a new account reads its posts through your own X connection, so connect an X account first. See Connect LinkedIn and X.
Analyze an account#
Type a handle in Analyze @handle or search and choose Analyze @handle (or press Enter). Your own connected X account is analyzed for you and marked You.
An analysis reads a sample of the account's 100 most recent posts.
Analyses are shared#
Analyses are shared across Postopus. If somebody already analyzed an account, adding it is free and does not count toward your quota.
Your monthly quota#
Each month you can add a number of new accounts, meaning accounts nobody on Postopus has analyzed yet:
- Inkling: 3
- Deep Diver: 10
- Kraken: 3
- Free trial: 3
Your own connected X account does not count. How many accounts a workspace can track at once also depends on your plan.
How accounts stay up to date#
While somebody still tracks an account, Postopus adds up to 20 of its new posts once a week.
Your own post metrics#
Separately from X Insights, your published X posts show their impressions, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and bookmarks on each post. See The calendar and your posts.
