Write with Tako
Use Tako in the editor to rewrite, repurpose, find hooks or turn an idea into a draft. You stay the author.
Tako helps you write. It never publishes for you: whatever it suggests lands in the editor as text you can edit, and only you can publish or schedule it.
The AI menu#
In the editor, open AI once your post has some text. You can pick:
- Rewrite in my voice: polish the draft, keeping your style.
- Rewrite with a prompt…: tell Tako how to change it, in your own words.
- Repurpose: adapt the post for the platform of the tab you are on, LinkedIn or X.
- Make this a thread: expand the post into an X thread.
- Hooks: opening lines to choose from.
- Remix: a few different takes to pick from.
Every draft follows your writing rules and uses only your facts.
Rewrite part of a post#
Select some text in the editor. A small bar offers Rewrite or With a prompt, and only the selection changes.
Undo what Tako did#
After any AI change, Postopus shows Restore. Choose it to put your text back as it was.
Start from an idea or an inspiration post#
On an idea in Ideas, or a post you saved in Inspiration, choose Use as-is to open it in the editor as it is, or Draft with AI to have Tako write a first draft from it.
Write in a teammate's voice#
In a shared workspace, you can write in a teammate's voice only if they have turned on Let teammates write in my voice.
